A wine country native, Alec Vlastnik began his career in the hospitality industry as busser at a local country club before quickly realizing that he was drawn to the atmosphere and art of creating a well-balanced cocktail far more than his philosophy and business studies. At the young age of 21, landed his first full time job tending bar at The Hotel Yountville and continued with positions at acclaimed restaurants such as The Meritage Resort, La Rosa Tequilaria and Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen before joining the spoonbar team as bar manager in the spring of 2015.
